He reloads, and fires at someone who tries running from the mosque. He finally fixes his rifle, and fires a few more rounds. He runs back out, shooting into both groups. He runs back out into the hall and grabs a magazine off the ground, reloading. He then turns and fires again towards the right side. He then reloads and runs back into the main room, firing into another crowd who is at the left corner of the room. He stands back up and fires again into the person who tackled him. He then turns and someone runs towards him to try and stop the gunman and is shot several times, the shooter falling at this time. He then turns to his right and fires dozens of rounds in rapid succession into a crowd that has gathered in the right corner of the room. He continues walking shooting at two people who are on the ground in the main room. He turns and fires into a side room at someone who is running behind a wall. He continues into the building, firing at someone in front of him who is desperately trying to get away. He drops it just inside the front doors, and pulls out the rifle that is probably slung over his shoulder. Nine rounds in rapid succession from the shotgun. He continues walking and a man says "Hello brother!" Cars are driving past and a group of people are right in front of him and one even turns to look at him as the shooter turns directions toward the front doors of the mosque. He walks along the sidewalk with the shotgun in his hands. He retrieves a shotgun from his trunk, leaving it open as he steps out from the alleyway. He has a rifle with an EO-Tech style optic on it, aswell as a strobe light, and two magazines attached for quick reloading. The vehicle is a wagon, which is essentially just a long hatchback. He waves to a man walking in front of his car, before stepping out from his car and going to his trunk. He stops at the edge of the alleyway, where he parks, apparently to make an easy and fast getaway of just pulling out after the shooting. He apparently has difficulty turning around in the tight alleyway, before finally turning around and driving towards the road. He arrives at the mosque and pulls into an alleyway next to it. He then says: "Remember lads, subscribe to PewDiePie." He then drives for 4 1/2 minutes, pulling over at some point for a little bit and pointing the camera at himself before getting back on the road. He fidgets with the camera for about 26 seconds before finally securing it to his head. He picks up the helmet with the camera attached to it. The video starts off with the camera/helmet next to the shooter in the passenger seat of his car. Violations of these rules will result in a permanent ban. This '63 Thunderbird can make its next owner a steward of a piece of Ford history - albeit a slightly modified one. Newer rear shock absorbers and exhaust muffler are noted. Viewed from below, the chassis is clean and undamaged with more of the original white paint showing through. The 390-cubic-inch Thunderbird V8 is finished in gold paint on the valve covers and air-cleaner cover above the 4-barrel carburetor. Under the hood, the remnants of the original white paint are evident. The console includes the emblem identifying the car as number 1,964 of the 2,000 limited-edition models, and script-Thunderbird chrome lettering faces the front passenger. There is no radio mounted three auxiliary engine-monitoring gauges are mounted below the dash. The shift lever for the Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission is mounted on the steering column. Instrument bezels, switchgear, and trim are chrome. A 3-spoke, ivory-rimmed steering wheel with chrome horn ring fronts an instrument cluster featuring three large gauge openings. Doors (and rear cabin-walls) include woodgrain trim which is also present on the center console and across the lower face of the dashboard. Upholstery is red vinyl with red velour fabric inserts and Thunderbird emblems on the front seat backs. The interior condition is generally very good with some signs of wear, use, split seams on the seat cushions, and panel-deterioration near the door jambs. All trim and surfaces are correct to original-equipment standards. The car's red interior certainly looks to be a complete transfer from another Thunderbird. Factory badging includes the Thunderbird emblems on the hood and rear deck, and the iconic stylized “Thunderbird” script on the rear fenders.īased on the Body Plate Data, it would appear that the car's original white interior (code 83) was also converted to red, likely concurrent with the repaint. Chrome body trim, window surrounds, bumpers, grille, and side mirrors all show bright finishes with minimal patina from age. The white faux convertible top, however, shows some discoloration and warping from age. The exterior red paint finish remains in generally very good condition with good gloss and no significant damage or evidence of overspray on other exterior surfaces, trim, or emblems. This car isn't finished in the original color scheme, but red on red with a white top is a proper color scheme for the time period that this car rolled off the assembly line. The Monaco cars also featured a dark red vinyl Landau top which broke up the white on white color scheme. The original white color is the shade that all “Monaco cars” were painted. The car's current exterior red paint was added professionally a number of years ago, however the original Corinthian White (Code M) remains on body panels inside the engine bay and the underside of the hood. The changes were made likely to suit a previous owner's preference. In its place, a removable top and “speedster humps” have been added. Often called “Monaco cars” by collectors, the car offered here has been repainted red, and the Landau top has been removed. (Body Code 63B) The Premier took place in the Principality of Monaco. This Thunderbird is believed to be number 1,964 of 2,000 Limited Edition Thunderbird Landau examples created to celebrate the World Premier of the 1963 model. Offered here is a vehicle which has a slightly unique look since this Thunderbird left the factory in a different color, and with a landau top. “Thunderbird… Unique in All the World” – 1963 Ford Thunderbird magazine ad headline To be sure you access all the more than 185 photographs, as well as a short start-up and walk-around video, please go to our main website: GKM.com) (Please note: If you happen to be viewing this 1963 Ford Thunderbird Convertible on a website other than our Garage Kept Motors site, it's possible that you've only seen some of our many photographs of the car due to third-party website limitations. The Creative Assembly is expanding on this mechanic, with each decision leading the player down a particular 'decision path' based on the player's previous decisions. Furthermore, if an army loses its general a new one will be immediately appointed by the player.Īs with Total War: Shogun 2, the player will be prompted with decisions. Skills can be chosen by the player as their general levels up while traits are based on what a general does in game. Generals acquire skills and traits independently from the army they command. When the player creates a general and begins training his troops, the army enters a muster mode and it cannot move while in this stance. Players have the ability to name their armies and navies, and to change their emblems. This system has been implemented to make battles more decisive and for them to have a bigger impact on a war between two factions. A faction can gain more power by conquering more regions and filling its coffers with gold. There is also a cap on the number of armies and navies a faction can have at any time, based on the faction's power. Armies and navies in Rome II can be made up of a maximum of 20 units and must have a general or admiral to lead them. These stances are called "Forced March" which enables an army to march further, but which will also tire out its men and reduce their fighting ability "Defensive Stance" that enables the player to place stakes and build temporary forts "Ambush Stance", which enable the army to remain hidden and attack the enemy with traps such as rolling balls of flaming hay and finally "Raiding Stance" which lowers the range that the army can march but greatly lowers its upkeep cost. These stances determine many things, among them total movement points per turn or the ability to deploy traps for an ambush. Armies and navies also have changeable stances on the campaign map. Selecting a new one will also deselect all the others. I added a star in the Arms tab so you can now easily see which items are selected as primary. is now also fixed Primary Armor, Range, and Melee have all been refactored. There is several bug fixes, features, and Js refactoring thanks to apathy dude on Github's helpful work. Version 1.1 Big update coming tomorrow for this sheet. Welcome to the Shadowrun 5th Edition Shadowrun 5th Edition sheet is an unofficial character sheet made for Catalyst Game Lab's Shadowrun 5th Edition. Even digital ads come with a cost because you have to pay for advertising space. You don’t have to pay for envelopes or postage because you’re physically distributing them, not mailing them out. Once you print out your door hangers, your expenses are over. Your highest costs are printing-if you have some talent for graphic design, you don’t even have to pay a professional to create them. One of the greatest benefits of door hanger signs is their affordability. Here are a few reasons why it’s worth investing in door hanger printing. However, there is still plenty of value (and sometimes even greater ROI) with traditional marketing forms such as door hangers. Benefits of Door Hanger MarketingĬonventional marketing wisdom has been pushing digital marketing for the past few years and saying that print advertising is dead. These marketing campaigns are characterized by bright graphics and short, punchy copywriting. Instead, their most important benefit is their eye-catching visibility. Print door hangers are usually on the smaller side, about the size of a regular rack card, so they can easily fit on people’s doors.ĭue to their small size, door hangers usually don’t try to cram tons of information onto their pages. Marketing door hangers are similar to regular flyers except they have a hook or insert that allows them to hang directly on people’s door handles instead of getting lost in the mailbox or under the door. Have you ever come home and noticed a flyer sticking around your door handle? Congratulations, you’ve been a recipient of a door hanger marketing campaign. To pull off one of your own, here is everything you need to know about door hanger flyers. A successful campaign still requires planning and organization. That does not mean that door hangers marketing is an instant ticket to success. Door hanger advertising is an underrated way for entrepreneurs at all stages of the game to generate hype for their business and get paying customers. One way to stand out is to meet them at the door-with eye-catching door hangers. When people are bombarded with advertising the second they open the Internet or step out the door, how do you stand out? One of the biggest struggles for marketing professionals and small business owners is how to get people’s attention during a time when it seems like the whole world is competing for the same. What Do You Need to Research Ahead of Time?.When Should You Use Door Hanger Marketing?.What Businesses Can Use Door Hanger Marketing?. For people who haven't played HL, I can compare the HECU to Paratroopers who trade a bit of gun power for sheer movement speed. What I hated about Half-Life's HECU was that they took shittons of bullets to kill and had very high accuracy often I found myself cowering from them, waiting for them to run through a corner so I could shotgun them to death, which highlighted a stupid vulnerability in their AI. While they went down in a few bullets, they still flanked, strafed, took cover when wounded, and did all of this mostly without hard scripting, unlike Half-Life's HECU grunts (who had rather basic AI moves but had lots of level scripting to assist them). To me RtCW's Nazi soldiers always hit a near-absolute sweet spot of intelligence and difficulty. I particularly love that nice Half-Life feel of "early 2000s 3D shooter with smart, fast-moving enemies" that it seems to evoke. Unlike Humans, I've never come across a Loper in real life, so I wouldn't know how tough it really would be :P I generally don't have as much of a problem with the Ubersoldiers, Lopers and Bosses being bullet spongey, because they are big, inhuman enemies that look like they can shrug off bullets. Yes, you can get headshots, but I tend to consider it a cheap way of beating encounters. It immediately breaks all suspension of disbelief and takes me out of the illusion of firing actual firearms against Human opponents. Most Human enemies in RtCW don't have too much health, but they barely ever react to getting winged most of the time. Just to clarify that when I use the term "bullet spongey" I'm not merely referring to enemies that suck up a lot of damage, but also stuff like not reacting appropriately to getting shot with bullets, though I confess that I may be using the term wrong. The only enemies which were bullet sponges were the ubersoldiers, lopers, and the first and final bosses, you can still pretty much headshot all human enemies. There's also a laundry list of personal pet peeves and nitpicks that help bring the game down, however overall, I'd say it was an excellent little game for its time, that just hasn't aged all that well. I'd rather have fewer, but better designed guns.Īnd of course, there were the Stealth Only missions like the Forrest and that last village (though the village one did a much better job at doing a stealth mission and was semi-enjoyable). I may be in the minority on this, but I felt the game had too many samey guns for its own good I appreciate that it had weapons based on actual WW2 weaponry, but to a casual "I-want-cool-toys-that-shoot-stuff-in-various-cool-ways" person, it gets repetitive with multiple machineguns (submachineguns or assault rifles are, in video game terms, the same thing in my eyes) I felt the developer crammed too many weapons in there at the expense of making some of them actually useful and fun to use (looking at that useless Luger for one). I've never been a fan of bullet-spongey human-sized enemies that would work for something really big and covered in armour ('natural' or otherwise) or the like, but not for a squishy soft Human. Also secrets :)īut even back then, I was very disappointed with how bullet-spongey the enemies were (I was particularly unhappy with how useless the Luger is, since I loved how deadly your basic pistol in Wolf3d felt and I have a fondness for handguns). I also really adored how most levels gave you the choice of being stealthy or just gunning everything down with reckless abandon. It had interesting locations (that are still an inspiration today) and it had a decent amount of humour when eavesdropping. It has one of the best hand-held miniguns I've tried in an FPS and I'm a sucker for a good minigun. I loved how it brought a semi-historical (bwahahahaha!) WW2 element to the series, while still being over-the-top silly. I used to enjoy this game (was overjoyed to get a then-modern take on one of my favorite series), but these days, I find it hard to get into it again. There is the ability to drop unwanted weapons, as well as dedicated animations when picking up weapons. It looks like you can only carry 2 rifles and 2 pistols at once like RDR2, while probably storing your other weapons in your car. The Weapon Wheel has been redesigned, and it's similar to RDR2, with the ability to switch between Weapons, Equipment and Gear with R1 / RB.The game features Underfire animation (character trying to block gunfire) which adapts based on the weapons held, as well as another animation titled "overdose".This allows using weapons such as Assault Rifles during drive-bys. There are more Drive-By capabilities: as a passenger, you can stand and shoot from outside the window, as well as from the bed of a truck. The following are other weapons-related features that have been confirmed or leaked for Grand Theft Auto VI: In addition to the weapons, the following ammo types have also been discovered for GTA 6: More weapons will be added to this page as soon as they get confirmed or revealed for GTA 6. Ninety-five percent of respondents who deliberately sought out porn were male ( CyberPsychology & Behavior, Vol. Of those who sought out pornography online, 60% were 14 or older. In that study, 87% of those who deliberately sought out porn offline were 14 or older. A 2005 study led by Michele Ybarra, MPH, PhD, of the Center for Innovative Public Health Research, found that 15% of all 9- to 17-year-olds reported seeking out pornography in the previous year, while 25% reported an unwanted exposure in the past year. Work led by Rothman using the nationally representative Youth Internet Safety Survey found that the likelihood of a teen or preteen accessing pornography intentionally rose from 8% in 2000 to 13% in 2010, coinciding with the rapid expansion of the internet. There are limited reliable recent statistics on the age when adolescents start viewing pornography, and findings sometimes conflict. Reports differ as to how prevalent porn viewership is among teenagers. This approach also acknowledges that teenagers are naturally curious about sexuality and may seek out pornography to satisfy that curiosity. “They really almost try to insist that you’re either pro-pornography or anti-pornography.”īut researchers and educators like Rothman are trying to chisel out a middle ground-one that recognizes the toxic tropes common in mainstream pornography while still acknowledging that most people encounter, and many people enjoy, pornographic material. “This is such a hot-button issue for so many people,” says Emily Rothman, ScD, a professor of community health sciences at Boston University. These entangled issues make nuanced discussion challenging. Pornography is a controversial topic, encompassing issues of sexual morality, gender equity, and freedom of speech. “We know that some media can be sexual in nature, and it’s important for us to be able to talk to youth about it.” A middle ground “We’re finding in the context of prevention that students are talking more and more about the media that they see,” Orchowski says. And they’re trying to process what they see, both in pornography and in sexually charged mainstream content. This need is pressing because whether or not adults are comfortable talking about sexually explicit media, some teenagers are viewing it, says Lindsay Orchowski, PhD, a psychologist at Brown University who focuses on adolescent dating violence prevention. Some psychologists, sex educators, and public health experts are now pushing back with a new tool: porn literacy aimed at teaching teenagers to think critically about pornography and how it’s made, with a goal of combating the negative messages that much pornographic content conveys. The scientific evidence is mixed on the effects pornography exposure has on adolescents, but there is no doubt that much of the content presents a skewed look at human sexuality, often rife with misogyny and a lack of clear consent. Today’s teenagers are merely a few clicks away from seemingly infinite streaming pornography.Īlong with easy opportunities to send sexts and nude pictures, free access to pornography is one of the biggest changes digital communications technology has wrought on young people’s sex lives. Gone are the baby boomers’ days of hiding pilfered Playboy magazines beneath the bed or Gen Xers’ surreptitious viewing of scrambled adult television channels, hoping for a glimpse of hidden anatomy beneath the static. To calculate the molar mass of a substance you need a periodic table and the chemical formula. The fundamental insight represented by Mendeleev's 1869 classification framework remains intact, although new interactive online and three‐dimensional presentations emerge. The mass of a mole of substance is called the molar mass. The abiding preeminent position of the Periodic Table in displaying the known elements (now 118) reflects the extent to which the underlying principles on which it is constructed constitute, in effect, a “standard model” for chemistry. The usual charge on an element is indicated by an element's group. The table tells each element's atomic number and usually its atomic weight. Another useful feature of the periodic table is that most tables provide all the information you need to balance chemical reactions at a glance. Rather than memorize facts and figures for each element, students and scientists need only glance at the table to learn much about the reactivity of an element, whether it is likely to conduct electricity, whether it is hard or soft, and many other characteristics. The Periodic table is useful for modern students and scientists because it helps predict the types of chemical reactions that a particular element is likely to participate in. Element 106 has been named seaborgium (Sg) in his honor. In 1951, Seaborg was awarded the Nobel Prize in chemistry for his work. He reconfigured the periodic table by placing the actinide series below the lanthanide series. Starting with his discovery of plutonium in 1940, he discovered all the transuranic elements from 94 to 102. The last major changes to the periodic table resulted from Glenn Seaborg's work in the middle of the 20th Century. With the discovery of isotopes of the elements, it became apparent that atomic weight was not the significant player in the periodic law as Mendeleev, Meyers and others had proposed, but rather, the properties of the elements varied periodically with atomic number. This charge, later termed the atomic number, could be used to number the elements within the periodic table. van den Broek in a series of two papers proposed that the atomic weight of an element was approximately equal to the charge on an atom. In the popular imagination the periodic system invariably and justifiably connects to his name, to the same extent that the theory of evolution connects to Darwin’s name and the theory of relativity to Einstein’s.Īlthough Mendeleev's table demonstrated the periodic nature of the elements, it remained for the discoveries of scientists of the 20th Century to explain why the properties of the elements recur periodically. Mendeleev’s version of the periodic table left the biggest impact on the scientific community, both at the time it was produced and thereafter. However, there was an untimely delay in the publication of his most elaborate periodic table, and, perhaps more importantly, Meyer-unlike Mendeleev-hesitated to make predictions about unknown elements. The closest precursor to Mendeleev’s table in both chronological and philosophical terms was developed by Julius Lothar Meyer, a German chemist, in 1864. By the 1860s a number of scientists had moved beyond the triad concept to produce some very respectable periodic systems. The elements in these groupings displayed an important numerical relationship to each other: the equivalent weight (an early substitute for atomic weight) of the middle element had the approximate mean of the values of the two flanking elements. The observation that certain types of elements prefer to combine with certain other types prompted early chemists to classify the elements in tables of chemical affinities. Mendeleev was hardly the first to arrive at a periodic system. It marks the 150th anniversary of the publication by the Russian chemist Dmitry Mendeleev (1834–1907) of his Periodic Table and celebrates the significance and impact of this outstandingly successful chart of the atomic building blocks of matter. The year of 2019 was designated by the United Nations as the International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements. This periodic table chart lists elements by name in alphabetical order including the element symbol and atomic number for quick and simple reference.
